A fun mix of colours in a long southeast-facing border! I’ve used Buddleja Buzz ‘Indigo’ (not yet in flower) as a scaffold for one of my favourite plants, Geranium psilostemon, shown off by Spirea japonica ‘Goldflame’ behind…another favourite, Geranium ‘Dusky Crug’ spills over the edge nearby, picking up on the dark burgundy leaves of an inherited Sambucus nigra ‘Black Beauty’ in the background…Geum ‘Totally Tangerine’ offers pops of orange throughout the bed, complimenting the tones of the Spirea. A cheerful mix (for humans & pollinating insects) to enjoy this summer!
