After time away over the Easter school holidays, I was so pleased to see that we hadn’t missed our Exochorda × macrantha ‘The Bride’ flowering when arriving home! It always puts on such a beautiful display every spring. I keep the stem pruned clear, as it provides an architectural perch for the birds using our adjacent pond, something we love watching from our kitchen window
