I’ve grown comfrey for many years as a crop in my vegetable garden, dedicating an entire bed for it. (This helps to keep it contained! 😁). Comfrey is such a beautiful plant that has loads of different benefits:
– it flowers all season if deadheaded regularly
– is fantastic for the compost heap as an activator
– you can make comfrey ‘tea’ as your own homemade liquid plant feed
– & my overall favourite benefit of comfrey in the garden…watching the bees enjoy it as a food source all growing season 🐝 (which then also invites a continual group of pollinators to your garden 🌸)
